This little grove is located in a rural area NE of Fort Meade, FL in an area South of Lake Buffum, a large fishing and recreational lake. The Lake Buffum County boat landing is about 1200 feet North on Doc Lindsey Rd.
The 18+ acres is bounded on all sides by paved roads which would permit dividing the property into (3) 5+ acre parcels.
The grove is serviced by a 4″ electric well and is about 1/2 Hamlin and 1/2 Valencia. The grove has had no care for several years other than mowing.
The property has potential for renovating the grove and enjoying the tax advantages of citrus but would take several years of care to really make it profitable again. It picked about 1400 boxes of Hamlin oranges in 2019 and Valencia crop is still on the trees.
Another alternative would be to push all or select citrus trees and convert the property to a nice little ranch with home and animals. (horses, cattle, goats, chickens, vegetable garden, etc.)
There are signs on the property.
